Wadesboro has a new catering business, Milestone Full Service Catering, established in 2014 by Chad and Lilly Fowler. Originally from Maryland, they moved to Anson County this past April and purchased a beautiful home in Wadesboro. They’ve worked in hotels, restaurants and catered various events and collectively bring almost 40 years of continual culinary experience to the table.
Chad attended culinary school and then went on to teach others in the profession for many years at the collegiate level, teaching both savory and pastry. He’s a firm believer in the idea that “you eat with your eyes first” and food should look beautiful as well as taste delicious. It certainly does!
Milestone Catering has teamed with Twin Valley Golf Club in Wadesboro and will soon host some Sunday brunches, lunch services and bar nights. In fact, there’s a “soft opening” for lunch set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. They already had one successful bar night and the second one will take place from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 19. Plus, a New Year’s Eve Bash is planned for 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31 at the golf club, with an end-of-night breakfast buffet available.
Baked goods and snacks can be purchased from Milestone Catering in the Twin Valley Golf Pro Shop. Check out their facebook page and their website for more information, updates, discounts and menu selections.
